Public Works/Maintenance Worker-Full time Position
The City of Buffalo Lake is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Public Works/Maintenance Worker. This position performs all public works operations including water and wastewater systems, street maintenance, city equipment, city buildings, parks and related work as apparent or assigned. This position is managed by public works supervisor.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Must have or be able to obtain Class C Water License and Class D Wastewater License. Maintain or have ability to obtain all required regulatory licenses within 12 months. Valid Minnesota Class B drivers license within 12 months. Experience in heavy and light equipment operation and maintenance preferred, ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on an as needed basis. Must be able to utilize time properly and productively, be able to maintain records in an accurate and accessible manner. Position is eligible for full benefits. Starting wage dependent on experience and qualifications.
